silk trains in the night
I hear they travel at the speed of light
there under the staring stars
their wonder gaze on thundering cars
clouds of cinders, smoke, and steam tell me, what it means
full on, no turning back
Tuscan-Red down the railway track
come along and you will see
we’ve got to find a way
through it all, goin’ through it thick and thin

silk thread worth its weight in gold
such excitement you can’t conceal
they work so hard for that liquid feel
on the mulberry branch they feast
